Risk framework

Written down, and followed.

A written thesis and a defined exit for every position.

No leverage at launch, and very low concentration by design.

Investment decisions taken by an Investment Committee; exposure and limits reviewed by a Risk Committee with an external member.

Separation of duties between research, execution and operations.

Counterparty and service-provider diligence repeated on a set schedule.

Conflicts & alignment

One set of terms.

The founders invest their own capital in the fund on the same terms as clients, pari passu, and pay no fees on it. Personal account dealing is restricted by policy and declared quarterly. A conflicts register is maintained, and material conflicts are disclosed to investors in writing.

The firm has no distribution arrangements, pays no retrocessions, and earns nothing from any client relationship other than the fund’s stated fees.
